Stay in Bruinisse, Zeeland’s fishing village – you can at de Stoofpolder! Bruinisse has an excellent location of the Schouwen-Duiveland island and is easily reached from the mainland and Belgium. Bruinisse plays host to many activities, in the yacht harbour and the village alike.
Bruinisse has always been linked to the mussel. Bruinisse’s harbour serves as the base of the local fishery, known for the harvest of the authentic Zeeuwse mussel. The village also has a prime location on the island with places like Zierikzee, Renesse and Burgh-Haamstede in the surrounding area.
With de Stoofpolder group accommodation, groups are able to stay right next to the historic village. The group accommodation can host up to 200 guests and is suited to groups of 20 guests or more. The accommodation consists of four dormitory buildings, each equipped with its own kitchen and dining hall. The rooms are fitted with (bunk)beds, storage facilities and electrical outlets.
For many years, de Stoofpolder has functioned as a base for various groups looking to stay in Bruinisse such as schools, church groups, scuba diving clubs and other sport associations. The accommodation is entirely customisable; facilities can be adjusted to suit the individual needs of the group.
